Defined Contribution Plan Administrator
Provide the full range of TPA services for a dedicated book of business.
Job Description
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Retirement plan administration, including:
- Trust accounting
- Eligibility and vesting calculations
- Preparation of valuation reports and participant statements
- Contribution calculations
- Distribution processing and loan administration
- Preparing government filings including Form 5500 Series, Form 8955-SSA, and Form 5330
- Performing all compliance and discrimination testing
- Managing a client caseload
- Building and maintaining client relationships aimed at client retention by understanding the client’s organization, procedures, internal policies, and overall business needs
- Providing solutions to client issues and questions
- Coordinating and directing client activities with other team members
- Preparing proposals for new client work and/or new work for existing clients
QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:
- Preferred: QPA, QKA, or CPC with three to five years of experience. We will also consider someone that has passed one or more of the ASPPA exams
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent command of the English language
- Ability to work on several projects concurrently
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Exceptional customer relations skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Experience using software to analyze and solve problems
- Ability to work in a paperless environment
- Strong computer skills using MS Office and retirement plan specific software
- Professionalism
